Grands Prix de la SFP

Les 8 Grands Prix de la Société Française de Physique honorent l'excellence de chercheuses et chercheurs ou de projets dans le domaine de la physique.

Ils sont distribués annuellement ou bi-annuellement, pour 4 d'entre eux en collaboration avec d'autres sociétés soeurs étrangères - pour les prix Holweck (IOP - Grande Bretagne), Gentner Kastler (DPG - Allemagne), Friedel-Volterra (SIF - Italie) et Charpak-Ritz (SPS  - Suisse). 

Les appels à nominations sont ouverts du 1er janvier au 31 mai de chaque année. 

Les dossiers des nominés doivent nous parvenir en anglais, au moins pour les documents essentiels. Il est important d'apporter les éléments justificatifs pertinents dans l'éventualité d'un prix international. Tous les dossiers soumis seront examinés pendant trois années consécutives. Ensuite un délai de carence de trois ans est imposé avant de représenter les mêmes candidat·e·s.

The 8high Prizes of the French Physical Society aim to honor the excellence of the physics-relevant achievements of scientists or successful programme. These awards are annual, four of them bi-annual, as a result of a joint commitment of SFP with a sister learning society (UK, Germany, Italy, Switzerland).
The call for nominees are open between January 1st till May 31th each year. Submitted files are required to be written in English for the essential documents. Each application may be relevant to one or two of the international award beyong the SFP prizes. It is of main importance to produce significant elements to a possible international prize. All the applications are valid for three consecutive years. Then a waiting period of three years is compulsory before submitting an application for the same candidat(e).
